Schafler

Scott was an original Founder of Cortec in 1984 and is now a Founding Partner.

Prior to Cortec, Scott served as Vice President of Operations and Director of Condec Corporation. While at Condec, all industrial businesses reported to Scott, including the Flow Control Group, Lima Electric Alternators, NRM Processing Machinery, NRM Tire Machinery, and UC Industries. He was also the founder and Chairman of UCI, Condec’s joint venture with the United States Gypsum Company.

Scott currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Chauvet and Rotating Machinery Services. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Vidaris, among other investments.

Scott earned a M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and holds a B.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University.
